Clear vision lockers are the answer for security-conscious environments

Providing staff or pupils with a place to securely store their personal belongings is beneficial for them and helps you keep your office tidy. Workplace lockers can also help free up desk space by removing clutter. They make it easier to enforce workplace policies, such as no mobile phones. Staff can lock away phones and personal possessions including wallets and keys in their own personal locker.

But traditional solid door lockers also have a disadvantage. Because they allow items to be kept out of sight, they potentially provide a secure place for dishonest staff members. They may keep items which may have been stolen or which aren’t allowed on the premises at all. For some companies this drawback has prevented them from deploying lockers in the first place. Meaning they are missing out on all the benefits that lockers provide.

Clear vision lockers are the solution

But there is a solution, clear vision lockers which are secure lockers with a transparent polycarbonate door. Clear vision lockers allow the contents to remain on view at all times. These lockers are ideal for schools, gyms, call centres and office environments where there may be a security risk.

Clear vision lockers are just as secure as solid door lockers. The locker carcass is made of mild steel, with a welded plinth between the individual locker compartments to prevent forced access. Meanwhile, the door itself is made from transparent, shatterproof polycarbonate, which is both hard wearing and vandal proof.

Clear vision lockers are available in two to six door configurations.  3 point locks come as standard. That makes them ideal for public places such as museums, retail outlets and hospitals. A selection of other lock options are also available, including traditional hasp locks, coin locks and combination locks.

The locker frames can also be specified in a range of colours, allowing them to be personalised to fit your office decor. Choose from white, silver or black. They can be installed as freestanding or wall mounted units. You can bolt lockers together side by side to create a run of lockers.
